Eyeshadow Fallout

Eyeshadow fallout is very common and can be very annoying. Fortunately, there is a solution for that! Apply loose powder under your eyes aka bake your face. Having loose powder under your eyes will help to catch any of the eyeshadow fallout and once you’re done, you can just brush it off. You can also use hydrating eye patches under your eyes as you’re applying eyeshadow. Once you’re done with your eye makeup, you can just peel them right off!

Marcelle Face Powder (click on the picture below) is what I use to bake my face with and I honestly love it! It’s affordable and it lasts for a long time. A little bit of it goes a long way. If you’re looking for a new baking powder, Marcelle’s face powder is a must!

Eyeshadow Line

Not sure how to get that perfect eyeshadow or eyeliner line? Simply use tape! Take a piece of tape and put it on your hand. Reposition it a few times so it loses its stickiness and then apply it under your eyes following your water line. Do your makeup as you normally would and then remove the tape once you’re done. You’ll have that snatchy looking line! Also, if the line looks too extreme for you, you can always go back and use a cotton swab to blend the line out.

Thin Lips

Thin lips are beautiful but sometimes you just want that extra plump. To get plumpy lips, outline your lips with a dark contour to get that ombre effect. Then, fill in your natural lips with a lighter shade of lipstick as it will create an effect of bigger lips. Finally, apply your lipstick and take a dark shade of lipliner and apply in the inner corners of your lips to create the final ombre effect.

Clumpy Lashes

After you’ve applied your first coat of mascara, use a different, clean wand to apply more coats. It’s better to use a mascara wand that has spiky bristles. You can even use a new toothbrush if you don’t have an extra mascara wand!

Visible Eyelash Glue

Is there anything worse than applying fake lashes and having that white glue show? It’s better to use transparent lash glue as the color won’t show afterwards. If you don’t have a transparent glue, just wait for 30-45 seconds before you apply your lashes. You’ll be able to re-adjust it later. Once you’re done applying your falsies, use black liquid eyeliner. You can also always apply mascara to blend your natural lashes and falsies together.

Defining Your Brows

Wanna get those perfect flawless brows? Just use concealer! First, take your brow pencil and define your brows. Then, use concealer gently under your eyebrows, define the lines and boom! There you have it!

Points To Remember

  • Always use a moisturizer or a primer on your face before applying foundation as this will make your foundation look less cakey.
  • Use a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation.
  • Always use a primer on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow.
  • If you’re going to use a lash curler, only use it before you apply your mascara, not after.
  • Always make sure to clean your makeup brushes after every use. (I use this Brushegg to clean my makeup brushes. It works really great!)
